FREEDOM FIGHTER’S MANUAL

All Nicaraguans who love their country and cherish liberty.
Men, women, young and old people, farmers and workers alike
must ask themselves what they can do with the means at their disposal,
in order to participate in today’s armed struggle.

Against the usurpers of the authentic Sandinista revolution
which the people of Nicaragua
have fought and shed their blood for so many years.
Some might think that today’s armed struggle
requires military supplies
and economic resources available only to
the states or terrorist bands armed by Moscow.

However there is an essential infrastructure that any government needs
that can be easily disabled and even paralyzed
without the use of armaments or costly and advanced equipment,
with the small investment in resources and time.

Don't do maintenance work on vehicles or machines.
Come to work late and delay in completing tasks.
Hide and damage tools. Throw tools into sewers.
Call in sick and do not go to work.
Plant invasive flowers on state farms.
Hoard and steal food from the government.
Leave lights on. Leave water taps on.
Leave open the corral gates on state farms.

Steal and hide key documents. Damage books.
Break light bulbs and windows.
Invert battery cable connections. Put nails in battery cells.
Put water in gasoline tanks. Put rocks on highways!

Nicaraguan patriots! Nicaraguan soldiers!
A very effective way to sabotage the Marxist tyranny
is by refusing to serve militarily
in the schemes of imperialist oppression.
Take a decisive action toward the freedom of Nicaragua
by incorporating with your arms if possible,
in the ranks of your brothers, worthy heirs of Sandino.

Fill a narrow-necked bottle with gasoline,
kerosene, or burnable diesel.
Better still, if shredded soap or sawdust added.
Insert a rag in the bottle until one end touches the liquid
and the other end extends no more than 20cm from the rim.
Seal the bottle tightly with string or tape
and then to activate the device:
hold it in one hand with your arm extended
and light the rag with your other
and throw it with sufficient force that it explodes on impact.
